Here you will find trails and routes from around Donegal ridden by myself or shared by other mountain bikers from around the county. Any routes posted on this site are not official routes and are only suggested routes to be enjoyed by others at your own risk. Respect the landowners and do not entry private property.

Route 1: Burtonport Railway Line

Distance: 11km Elevation:67m Grade: Easy Surface: Mixed (mainly gravel)
Simple 11km out and back route along the old railway line. There is one main road crossing but it is very well sign posted.

Shared walking path with walkers - Please respect the walker and keep the pace on this route at a relaxed pace.

Route 1: West Donegal

Distance: 70km Elevation:916m Grade: Moderate- Punchy Climbs with good recovery and breath taking views. Plenty of stops for coffee along the way. Surface: Mixed - Contains some road sections.
